Hyperlight

The USEF SOLIS is the first spaceship to be constructed with faster-than-light capability, made possible with the Hyperlight core. Emiliana Newton and Philip Maeda are chosen for the USEF SOLIS' first mission—to investigate a distress signal coming from a nearby planet, Q465b. The Hyperlight core creates a temporal anomaly: the distress signal came from themselves.
