Maverick scientist Sachin Fayez spent the last seventeen years trying to demonstrate experimentally his theory of the Chasm Strait, a means of communication outside the known universe, which was a spinoff of his research with Caltech trying to materialize matter with sound. Seventeen years of no results ruined Sachin's reputation, until dramatic evidence supporting the Chasm Strait appeared in very unexpected ways.
